Whale Safari
There are many different species of whales in Greenland.
From the famous bowhead whale to smaller whales such as porpoises and white noses.
Whales migrate north during summer, this because during summer the artic sea is known as food store to whales.
A substance rich of nutrials created by the ice grinding over rock, the sea currents, and the arctic midnight sun greates an abundance planktons and substans of small fish, shrimp like krill.

Around the Fjord
This tour is one the MUST TRY boat trips.
We´ll be sailing from Nuuk, past the majestic mountain, Sermitsiaq, which by the way is a landmark for Nuuk, towards Qoornoq in the fiord.
The route is set, so you can see much of the fiord as possible.
Breathtaking icebergs, Wide and deep ocean surrounded by high and steep mountains on both sides of the bay.
When we get to Qoornoq Island, we´ll make a short stop, after which we sail on towards Akia and Nuuk.
On the way back, we make another short stop at Sermitsiaq Waterfall.
A trip where you get the opportunity to see a lot of Nuuk Fjord, and still make it home for dinner.

Come with us and pick your own mussels for dinner.
Blue mussels are a delicacy and an important part of the ocean's ecosystem.
We sail to the secret places where we know they congregate in large banks.

Kangeq | The Island of hope
Kangeq, a historical place where missionary Hans Egede founded Godthåb, today known as Nuuk.
Once home of the famous artist and hunter, Aron Kangermiu, whose paintings told traditional myths and legends.
Kangeq was abandoned in the 1970s, and a few houses are kept neat for the families who use the houses as summer residens. A Greenlandic flag raised outside the house signals that someone is home.

Kapisillit settlement
Deep in the Fiord hidden behind all mountains and icebergs you will find the settlement Kapisillit.
The locals here lives in a mix of the old and new way.
Fishing is still the main source of the daily bread.
Kapisillit, which means “the place with salmons”, is the only known place in Greenland with spawning salmon population.
Back in the days, there would be up to 1,000 people inside Kapisillit fishing for cod and halibut during the summer period.
Now the settlement’s inhabitants are around 50.

Puffins
Puffins! Adorably and iconic puffins.
Puffins are a beloved and iconic bird species, known for their distinctive brightly colored beaks and charming personalities.
Found in small island south of Nuuk, these small seabirds are a popular attraction among wildlife enthusiasts. In breeding season puffins are known to become crowded in their colonies.
Despite their small size, puffins are incredibly agile and can dive to great depths in search of their favorite foods, including fish and crustaceans.

Qooqqut nuan
When you finally make it to Nuuk, you must experience Qooqqut Nuan and its fabulous fish and dish menu.
We sail into the fiord surrounded by beautiful steep sided mountains.
Upon arrival to Qooqqut, you fish your dinner with a jig, which is then prepared by the chef in Qooqqut Nuan Restaurant.
Enjoy your dinner surrounded by mountains and valleys.

Qoornoq island
In the fjord lies an old settlement. Once a fishing village.
That old fishing village is Qoornoq.
A beautiful little settlement right in the middle of it all.
The entry to Qoornoq alone is breathtaking. High and steep mountains, eagles and thousands of beautiful ice sculptures.
When we arrive to Qoornoq, you will have up to 1 hour to explore the island with our guide.

The Two Waterfalls
Don't have much time, but want to go in and see the fjord, the icebergs and an amazing waterfall?
Then this tour is just for you.
A 2 hour tour where you get most of it.
We sail from Nuuk towards the fjord, past the magnificent Sermitsiaq to Qoornup Sullua.
Here we make a short stop at the first waterfall, after which we sail further into the fjord towards the large waterfall on Sermitsiaq island.
The waterfall is very popular with the locals as well.
A perfect trip for those who are in a bit of a hurry.
Attention:: There is a good chance to see wildlife on this tour.
