Who We Are
We are a local company with local owners and local employees. We have our base here in Nuuk, and together we have many years of experience
within sailing, especially in Nuuk and the surrounding area. With us, care, flexibility and safety are the key words.
We have extensive knowledge of the fjord and therefore have the competence to deliver just the experience you are looking for. Have a memorably experience with safety and security on focus.
Furthermore, we believe that experiences are best experienced with locals.
Out boats
In order for you to have an unforgettable experience, we have chosen nothing less than the top model from Finnmaster as our tour boat.
Pilothouse 8 or P8 – a finalist in the prestigious Motor Boat Awards in 2020.
Both “Kimmernaq” and Kimmernaq II” have closed and heated cabins. *
This means that you can safely and comfortably experience the trip with a 360-degree view from the inside.
If you would rather sit outside in the fresh air, take a seat outside on the deck.
There are toilet facilities on board.

Pilot 8 is a “B” boat. Its strong construction means that the boat is approved for sailing off the coast and in challenging weather, which makes the boat suitable for sailing in the arctic.

We’re going at 25-27 knots at cruising speed (passenger sailing)
Safety
We always prioritize safety and carefully check weather conditions before we go off.
Our boats are equipped with SOLAS approved life rafts , life jackets and survival suits for all passengers.
Of course, we also meet the strict requirements for communication equipment and other rescue equipment required for passenger sailing in the Arctic.
