There are many different species of whales in Greenland.

From the famous bowhead whale to smaller whales such as porpoises and white noses.

Whales migrate north during summer, this because during summer the artic sea is known as food store to whales.

A substance rich of nutrials created by the ice grinding over rock, the sea currents, and the arctic midnight sun greates an abundance planktons and substans of small fish, shrimp like krill.

Because of this Humpback whales, fin whales and minke whales are faithful summer visitors in Nuuk Fjord.

So grab your camera and book a trip for an unforgettable experience with one of nature’s greatest wonders.

We can not garantee whales, but as soon as whales are spotted in the area - well thats were we will take you.

OMG Boat Trips has the right to change the route and destination due to weather conditions. In case the weather prevents us from part of the planned journey, we will spend the day in the beautiful Nuuk Fjord looking for other wildlife.
